In Uzbekistan, the average monthly wage exceeded 7 million soums in January–June 2026. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee here.
According to the committee, the average monthly nominal calculated wage across the republic during this period amounted to 7 million 91.1 thousand soums. This figure increased by 18.4 percent compared to the same period in 2025.

Among the regions, the highest average wage was recorded in the city of Tashkent — 12 million 13.9 thousand soums. This is 18.2 percent more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Additionally, the average monthly wage in Navoi region amounted to 8 million 722.7 thousand soums, in Tashkent region — 6 million 675.7 thousand soums, in Andijan region — 5 million 683.6 thousand soums, and in Bukhara region — 5 million 618.2 thousand soums.
The lowest figures were recorded in Kashkadarya region — 4 million 864.7 thousand soums, Surkhandarya region — 4 million 937.3 thousand soums, and Fergana region — 5 million 163.5 thousand soums.

By type of economic activity, the highest wages were observed in the banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and brokerage sector. The average monthly wage in this area amounted to 19 million 100.2 thousand soums.
In the information and communication sector, the average monthly wage reached 17 million 417.4 thousand soums; in the transportation and storage sector — 11 million 70 thousand soums; in industry — 8 million 267 thousand soums; and in the trade sector — 7 million 650.5 thousand soums.
In the education sector, the average monthly wage amounted to 4 million 977.1 thousand soums, and in the healthcare and social services sector — 4 million 440.3 thousand soums.
