A citizen of Uzbekistan who went to Belarus for work found himself in a difficult situation after losing contact with his employer. He was returned to Uzbekistan with the assistance of the diplomatic mission and the Migration Agency. The Dunyo news agency reported this.
According to reports, citizen M.T. traveled to Belarus in July of this year for employment purposes. However, after arriving in Minsk, the person who invited him for work stopped responding. Despite several days of attempts, it was impossible to contact the employer, and the citizen was left without funds.
After that, he applied to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus, requesting practical assistance to return to his homeland. Embassy staff processed the necessary documents and, in cooperation with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, helped purchase an air ticket from the Migration Fund's resources.
As a result, M.T. was returned to Uzbekistan on July 24 via the Minsk–Tashkent flight of Belavia airline.
