The credit debt of Uzbekistan's population to banks increased by 39.5 trillion soums in one year. This is stated in the data of the Central Bank.

As of July 1, 2026, the total outstanding credit balance in banks amounted to 642.8 trillion soums. This is 67.6 trillion soums more than in the same period of the previous year.

Of this, about 235.86 trillion soums falls to the share of the population. The credit balance of enterprises is 406.94 trillion soums, having increased by 28.6 trillion soums in one year.

The main part of the credits falls to the share of state banks — 422.2 trillion soums. The volume of credits allocated by private banks amounted to 220.5 trillion soums.

Among the banks that allocated the most credits, Uzmilliybank (107.1 trillion soums) and Agrobank (91.2 trillion soums) are leading. Among private banks, the loan portfolio of Capitalbank amounted to 38.3 trillion soums.
