In cooperation between the State Security Service and internal affairs officers, operational measures were carried out in Surkhandarya and Jizzakh regions to combat the illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs. This was reported by the State Security Service.
According to reports, in the Termiz district of Surkhandarya region, 4 kilograms of hashish substance, discarded by unknown individuals, was found in an agricultural field.
Also, during an operational measure conducted in cooperation between the Jizzakh regional directorate of the State Security Service and internal affairs officers, a person born in 1981, residing in Zarbdor district, was stopped and checked in the city of Jizzakh.
It was found that a utility bag next to him contained 4 kilograms 840 grams of cannabis plant, which was seized as material evidence.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents. Currently, within the framework of the investigation, measures are being taken to identify individuals involved in these violations.
