The professional training of graduates of higher education institutions and technical schools in Uzbekistan and their compliance with labor market requirements are studied based on employer assessments.
Starting from July 27, 2026, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education began conducting a nationwide survey among employers.
The survey is being organized as part of the implementation of the President's Decree "On additional measures to improve the quality of education and the system of providing educational services."
The main goal of the study is to examine the professional training, knowledge, and skills of graduates of higher education institutions and technical schools based on employer assessments, as well as to determine the extent to which they meet the requirements of the modern labor market.
During the survey, employers' opinions on the professional training, practical skills and competencies, ability to work independently, digital skills of graduates, and their compliance with labor market requirements will be studied.
The study covers employers who have hired graduates of higher education institutions and technical schools across the republic.
Within the framework of the survey, telephone interviews will be conducted by interviewers and volunteers of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. If necessary, face-to-face interviews will also be organized by visiting the organizations where employers operate.
It is reported that the results of the nationwide employer survey are considered one of the important indicators used in forming the National Ranking of higher education institutions and technical schools.
The data obtained from the survey are of great importance in assessing the quality of personnel training, the alignment of educational programs with labor market needs, and the competitiveness of graduates.
Additionally, this data will serve as an analytical basis for developing proposals and measures aimed at further improving the quality of education, adapting educational programs to labor market requirements, and developing the sector.
