In Uzbekistan, more than 92.3 thousand marriages were registered in half a year.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, this figure was 4,982, while in Jizzakh region 3,546, in Navoi region 2,435, and in Syrdarya region 2,310 marriages were registered.

During January-June 2026, a total of 92,300 marriages were registered by the Civil Registry Offices (ZAGS) in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

It was noted that during this period, the most marriages were registered in Samarkand region, with the number amounting to 10,150.

The following places were recorded by Fergana region — 9,787, Kashkadarya region — 9,597, and Tashkent city — 9,459 marriages.

Also, 7,660 marriages were registered in Andijan region, 7,552 in Surkhandarya region, 6,933 in Tashkent region, 6,458 in Namangan region, 5,881 in Khorezm region, and 5,564 in Bukhara region.
