A criminal case has been initiated against individuals who deceived a citizen by promising to formalize a land plot in the city of Quvasoy, Fergana region.
During a pre-investigation probe conducted by the Quvasoy city department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, it was established that citizens S.G. and Kh.S. colluded and committed fraud.
According to the information, they promised citizen V.E. that they would formalize a 32-square-meter land plot from the district administration's reserve for residential construction. Additionally, they prepared a fake cadastral file and obtained 5,000 US dollars.
During the investigation, the return of 2,400 US dollars and 7.2 million soms of these funds to the citizen was formalized in a procedural manner.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 228 (preparation, forgery, sale, or use of documents, stamps, seals, and forms) of the Criminal Code.
