The incident occurred around 16:00 on July 29 at a residential complex located on 197th Street in the Okhhisor neighborhood.
According to reports, 2-year-old Qodir Tohum went missing for a period of time. Unable to find the child, family members and relatives started a search in the surrounding area.
After approximately an hour-long search, the child was found motionless in the swimming pool of the residential complex. When he was being taken out of the pool, Timur Sarach, a paramedic living in the complex, provided first aid.
After that, the 112 emergency medical service was notified. Medical personnel arriving at the scene performed heart massage on the child and took him to Inegol State Hospital. However, despite all efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save Qodir Tohum's life.
The parents, who lost their child, were plunged into grief.
Upon hearing the news of their child's death, mother Shahodat and father Mehmet Tohum fell into deep grief.
The mother, suffering severe emotional distress, wept in front of the hospital's treatment room and cried out, "Qodir, come out, my child, from there."
The death of the 2-year-old plunged his relatives into deep sorrow. After a prosecutor's examination, the deceased's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the cause of death.
