Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Kyrgyzstan on a state visit.

During the meetings, it is expected that pressing issues regarding the further development of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will be discussed.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today, on July 30, departed for Kyrgyzstan on a state visit at the invitation of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

During the visit, the head of state will hold high-level bilateral negotiations with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov in the city of Cholpon-Ata. The meetings are expected to discuss topical issues related to the further development of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Also, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the informal Consultative Meeting of the leaders of Central Asian states and Azerbaijan.

During this event, it is planned to exchange views on strengthening political dialogue between the countries of the region, expanding trade and economic ties, and developing cooperation in transport and communications, energy, and other priority areas.
