All buildings and structures in the Sayilgoh area located in the Yunusobod district of Tashkent city will be renovated on the basis of a single “design code”. This was established in Decree No. 279 of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On additional measures for the socio-economic development of the city of Tashkent in 2026–2027”.
In accordance with the decree, the external appearance of all buildings and structures in the Sayilgoh area will be brought into line with unified architectural and urban planning requirements.
The Tashkent city administration and the Cultural Heritage Agency have been designated as responsible for these works. In addition, it is envisaged that all projects related to construction, demolition, and improvement in cultural heritage objects and their protected areas will be mandatorily coordinated with the Cultural Heritage Agency.
According to the document, the renovation of the Sayilgoh area based on the “design code” must be fully completed by the end of 2027.
