Today, on 31 July, strong winds are expected in five regions of Uzbekistan, and dust storms are expected in some places. This was reported by Uzgidromet.

According to the report, during the day, wind speed will increase to 13–18 meters per second in some areas of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions. At the same time, dust storms may be observed in some places in these regions.

Officials are recommending that the population follow precautionary measures during strong winds and dust storms, and if not necessary, not to stay in the open air for a long time.

Let us remind you that earlier Uzgidromet had reported that August would begin in Uzbekistan with dry and relatively hot weather. According to the forecast, in the first days of the month, the air temperature is expected to rise to 43 degrees in some regions, and then the temperature is expected to drop by 3–5 degrees.
