It has been reported that the head of one of the banking service centers in Markhamat district and the driver of the "Norin-Qoradaryo" irrigation systems basin administration conspired with each other.
They gained the trust of a citizen born in 1989 and claimed that documents related to the residential category existed for a 24-sotik plot of land that was in the reserve of the Markhamat district administration. They also demanded 39,000 US dollars in exchange for officially registering the land in the citizen's name through their acquaintances in official positions.
During an operative action conducted jointly by employees of the State Security Service, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, and internal affairs bodies, the driver was caught with material evidence while receiving 25,000 US dollars in advance.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
The State Security Service asks citizens, when encountering similar violations, to report via short number 1520. It is guaranteed that the information of the person who submits an appeal will be kept confidential.
