Riding without a ticket on Tashkent buses is becoming expensive.

In one year, more than 79 thousand passengers were found to have ridden the bus without a ticket.

Since the beginning of 2026, administrative reports have been formalized against 79.6 thousand passengers who traveled without tickets on Tashkent city buses. The press service of the Ministry of Transport reported.

According to the information, 10.5 thousand of these cases were recorded in July. The fine for traveling without a ticket and not paying the fare amounts to 41.2 thousand soums.

Since the beginning of the year, the total amount of fines collected has reached nearly 2 billion soums. In July, 234.6 million soums in fines were collected.

Control measures are being carried out by employees of the organization for monitoring and control of passenger transportation services in Tashkent city. Since January of this year, raids have been conducted on 82 bus routes in the capital.
