The video shows the district governor entering one of the households and criticizing the sanitary condition, waste, and disorder in the yard.
In the footage, Samad Hasanov explains to the household owner the need to keep the living space clean, dispose of household waste in the prescribed manner, and maintain the yard in a proper condition. According to him, the accumulated waste and neglect in the yard not only affect the living conditions but also create a negative impression on those around.
“Anyone looking at this house from outside would think it is an abandoned cemetery. Sweepings have piled up near the fireplace. Look under the windows and around the house. Garbage has also been scattered carelessly near the kitchen,” the governor says in the video.
In the images, a woman introduced as the head of the mahalla also criticized the household owner, saying that mahalla activists had repeatedly warned about maintaining cleanliness.
Furthermore, Samad Hasanov emphasized that the disorder in the household could negatively affect the family’s lifestyle and future, expressing the opinion that “tomorrow, a normal person would not give their daughter as a bride to this household.”
At the end of the video, the governor announced that measures would be taken regarding the identified deficiencies and that a fine would be imposed in accordance with the established procedure.
“Now you will impose a fine. For the house, the garbage — for everything. I do not need any talk that someone asked me for a favor or asked for forgiveness,” he says.
Currently, the administration of the Shahrisabz district or other authorized agencies have not given an official comment regarding this situation.
At the same time, the spread of the video on social media has caused various reactions among the public. In particular, some users are criticizing the fact that the citizen was recorded on video and publicly released.
