The Presnensky District Court of Moscow, Russia, found blogger Huseyn Hasanov guilty of legalizing criminal proceeds and sentenced him in absentia to 4 years of imprisonment. RIA Novosti reported this.

According to the report, the court sentenced Hasanov to serve his sentence in a general-regime colony.

According to investigation data, as an individual entrepreneur, he did not pay more than 175 million rubles in taxes. In addition, the blogger was accused of legalizing more than 68 million rubles of this amount through financial transactions related to the purchase of real estate from the Moscow-City complex.

The court found him guilty of committing the crime provided for in paragraph “b” of part four of Article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia.

For reference, Huseyn Hasanov is considered one of the most popular Russian-language bloggers. He is known for his humorous videos, giveaways involving expensive cars, and the paid online course “Millionaire Thinking” that caused controversy.

Let us recall that on May 14, 2025, the Chertanovo District Court of Moscow issued a decision to arrest Hasanov in absentia within the framework of the case on legalization of criminal proceeds. After that, he was put on the international wanted list.
