Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Sergio Gor, the Special Representative of US President Donald Trump for South and Central Asia and Ambassador, in New Delhi, the capital of India.
At the meeting, it was noted that the strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and the United States are consistently developing in all directions.
The parties exchanged views on further intensifying dialogue at the highest and high levels, as well as on priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
Also, cooperation within the C5+1 format, preparation for upcoming joint events, and topical issues on the regional and international agenda were discussed.
“At the end of the meeting, we agreed to consistently continue the open and trust-based dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States and to further expand practical cooperation”, — wrote Bakhtiyor Saidov.
