"Uzgidromet" has announced the weather forecast expected across Uzbekistan for today, August 6.

According to reports, the weather in Tashkent city will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The easterly wind speed will be 3–8 meters per second. The temperature will be 20–22 at night and 34–36 degrees during the day.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The easterly wind will blow at a speed of 7–12 meters per second, and in some areas it may strengthen to 13–18 meters per second, with dust storms possible. The air temperature will be 18–23 at night and 33–38 degrees during the day.

No precipitation is also expected in Bukhara and Navoi regions. The weather will be partly cloudy, warming up to 34–39 degrees during the day. At night, it will be warm at 20–25 degrees.

In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, the weather will be partly cloudy, and in some places variable. No precipitation is expected. The temperature will be around 18–23 at night and 33–38 degrees during the day.

Dry and hot weather will also persist in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions. During the day, the air temperature will rise to 35–40 degrees.

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, short-term rain and thunderstorms may occur in some areas. The air temperature is expected to be 18–23 at night and 32–37 degrees during the day.

In the mountainous areas of the republic, short-term rain and thunderstorms may also occur in some places. It was also noted that there may be a risk of mudslides and flooding in the foothill and mountainous areas of Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions.

Synoptic forecasters are asking the population, especially citizens heading to mountainous and foothill areas, to be cautious.
