In the city of Culiacán, Mexico, TikTok creator César Gastélum was killed in an armed attack while broadcasting live. This was reported by the publication Animal Político.
According to reports, Gastélum, who had nearly 600,000 subscribers and was known for humorous content, was live streaming in front of a fast food restaurant with friends. At that time, two people arrived on a motorcycle and approached the blogger.
The live broadcast footage showed one of the attackers firing a shot at César Gastélum. As a result, the blogger died at the scene due to the injuries he sustained.
So far, law enforcement agencies have not provided official information about the motives for the murder and the identity of the attackers.
It is noted that Culiacán, the capital of the Mexican state of Sinaloa, is considered one of the areas where clashes between organized criminal groups frequently occur.
