An investigation is being conducted into the death of a 4-year-old girl who drowned at the swimming beach on the territory of the National Park recreational area, located in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent city. This was reported to Darakchi.uz by the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov.
According to reports, the incident occurred on August 5, 2026, at approximately 16:30. According to preliminary data, Farzona Rashidova, born on January 12, 2022, had come to the beach at the National Park for swimming with her elder sister and grandmother. During swimming, the girl drowned.
Emergency medical workers who arrived at the scene provided her with first aid. However, doctors could not save her life.
According to a certificate issued by emergency medical workers, no external bodily injuries were found on the body of the deceased.
Currently, at the scene, an investigative task force, the prosecutor's office, and staff of the Forensic Medical Examination Bureau have ordered a forensic medical examination to determine the cause of death. Investigation actions are ongoing regarding the incident.
