The Spanish club "Real Madrid" is on the verge of finalizing the transfer of Jan Diomande, a defender for the German club "RB Leipzig". This is reported by a number of foreign sources.
According to reports, the Madrid side is ready to pay 125 million euros for the 19-year-old footballer. In addition, the deal also includes bonuses of up to 15 million euros. Currently, the parties are agreeing on the final legal and official aspects of the transfer.
If this deal is officially completed, Jan Diomande will become the most expensive transfer in Real Madrid's history.
Notably, the young defender has so far played in only 46 official matches at the senior level. A year ago, he played for Leganes, a club in the Spanish second division, and at that time his transfer value was estimated at 600 thousand euros.
