According to the composition announced by FIDE, Asaubaeva, who ranks 5th in the world ranking among women, will compete in the prestigious tournament in Samarkand as one of the main leaders of the Kazakhstan national team.
The Kazakhstan women's national team also includes Alua Nurman, who ranks 2nd in the world girls' ranking, Meruert Kamalidenova, holder of 4th place, Elnaz Kaliahmet, and Zarina Nurgalieva.
For reference, the 46th World Chess Olympiad will take place in Samarkand on September 15–27, 2026. According to FIDE rating indicators, the Kazakhstan women's national team is recorded as the fourth-ranked team of the competition.
