At a meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the law "On state pension provision for military servicemen (employees) and their family members" was approved.
The law establishes, on a unified legal basis, the procedure for assigning, calculating, recalculating, and paying pensions to military servicemen, employees of law enforcement agencies, and their family members.
According to the document, for military servicemen who served more than 30 years, the maximum pension amount will be increased from 75 percent to 100 percent. This procedure also applies to military servicemen who are currently receiving pensions and have served more than 30 years in calendar terms.
Also, state guarantees for assigning survivor pensions to family members of military servicemen who died during service or died as a result of injuries and illnesses sustained during service will be strengthened.
It is noted that the law is aimed at regulating pension provision issues on the basis of the Constitution of Uzbekistan and national legislation.
