In the Tashkent region, a training exercise based on an airplane crash scenario was held.

About 250 specialists and 25 units of special equipment were involved in the training session.

On August 7, a large-scale search and rescue training exercise was conducted in the Middle Chirchik district of Tashkent region to eliminate the consequences of a plane crash.

According to the exercise scenario, when a passenger plane flying on the Istanbul–Tashkent route was approaching landing, communication between the dispatcher and the crew was cut off, and the aircraft crashed without reaching Tashkent.

About 250 specialists and 25 pieces of special equipment were involved in the training exercise. Rescuers carried out actions to extinguish the fire, evacuate passengers, provide first aid to the injured, and deliver them to hospitals.

The exercise was organized in cooperation with the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Defense, Health, Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and Tashkent International Airport.

The purpose of the event is to strengthen cooperation between responsible agencies in aviation incidents and increase preparedness for emergency situations.
