For the residents of Tashkent city and region, a public mobile reception was held with the participation of the heads of the Supreme Court and the Supreme Judicial Council. The main goal of the reception was to directly study citizens’ appeals, resolve them in accordance with the law, and further strengthen open dialogue with the population.
Deputy heads of the courts of Tashkent city and Tashkent region, judges, and responsible employees also participated in the event. Citizens directly addressed the relevant officials about the issues that troubled them and received explanations on legal solutions and procedures.
During the reception, appeals from 1,279 citizens concerning 854 cases were reviewed. Of these, 403 applications and complaints were accepted for consideration in the manner prescribed by law, and legal clarifications were given on 410 appeals.
Notably, 41 appeals were resolved positively during the reception process itself. Such mobile receptions serve to study the population’s problems on site, protect the rights and legal interests of citizens, and ensure the openness of the judicial system and its direct dialogue with the population.
