Uzbek blogger Mahmud Hikmatov, who operated in Kazakhstan, has been placed on the international wanted list. He is known by the alias "Maxa.dxb". This was reported by Kazakhstan's Financial Monitoring Agency.

According to reports, a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen by a Kazakhstan court against Mahmud Hikmatov, who was born in Uzbekistan in 2000.

According to the investigation, Hikmatov is suspected of ensuring the operation of more than 5 illegal online casinos operating in Kazakhstan, receiving and paying money, as well as distributing advertisements aimed at attracting Kazakhstan citizens to gambling.

It is noted that to promote illegal bookmakers, the organizers involved the blogger in cooperation. He was tasked with finding influencers operating in Kazakhstan and arranging the placement of advertising content through them.

According to the Agency's information, Hikmatov involved more than 35 bloggers in cooperation. Among them was the blogger Hamza Q.

According to investigation materials, Hamza Q. posted referral links leading to internet casinos and received a reward for each user who passed through these links. Such advertising is said to be aimed at attracting Kazakhstan citizens to prohibited gambling activities.

For reference, Hamza Q. was extradited from Vietnam to Kazakhstan on August 6 of this year.
