In January–July 2026, the Tax Committee received 29,806 appeals. Of these, 95 percent, or 28,311, were resolved. The committee’s press service reported this.
It was reported that 82 appeals were sent to relevant organizations. During the review of 43 appeals, the circumstances cited in them were not confirmed. 45 appeals were not considered because they were anonymous. Another 1,325 appeals are being reviewed within the established timeframe.
The largest share of appeals was related to providing explanations on taxes. Specifically, in 13,397 appeals, citizens requested clarification on tax matters.
Additionally, 368 appeals requested tax exemptions or privileges. 176 appeals reported unlawful actions by employees of the Tax Committee system.
16 appeals reported violations of the law in the activities of entrepreneurs.
The remaining appeals concerned the provision of information, social issues, expressions of gratitude, and other matters.
Among the regions, Tashkent city led in the number of incoming appeals. 10,732 appeals were received from the capital, accounting for 36 percent of the total appeals.
The next positions were recorded by Tashkent region — 2,701 appeals, or 9.1 percent, and Samarkand region — 2,450 appeals, or 8.2 percent.
According to data, in the first half of 2026, the Tax Committee received over 26,000 appeals. Therefore, the number of appeals received by the committee during one month increased by more than 2,200.
