Surayyokhon Rustamovna Khujamkulova was appointed to the position of head of the Public Cooperation Center of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The press service of the Supreme Court reported this.
According to the information, before her appointment to this position, Surayyokhon Khujamkulova served as a judge on criminal cases at the Tashkent City Court. She also previously worked as an investigating judge at the Mirzo Ulugbek District Court on Criminal Cases.
It was noted that Aziz Obidov, who had been working as the head of the Public Cooperation Center of the Supreme Court, continues his activity as a responsible employee in the same structure. He had been appointed to this position in November 2019.
For reference, the Public Cooperation Center of the Supreme Court was established in 2023 on the basis of the Department for Cooperation with the Public and Mass Media of the Supreme Court. One of its main tasks is to deliver open, prompt, and objective information to the public about the activities of the courts.
