These compensations are being allocated in accordance with Resolution No. PQ-134 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 2, 2025.
According to the resolution, needy families will be compensated for the difference between the prices within the basic norm and the prices exceeding the basic norm for the portion of electricity and natural gas consumed in excess of the established basic norm.
Of the 92.1 billion soums of compensation paid in January–June of the current year:
— 51 billion 427.8 million soums — for electricity;
— 40 billion 702.3 million soums — allocated for natural gas.
