An explosion occurred at a mine in the Cucunuba area of Colombia's Cundinamarca department, killing six miners. Zamon.uz reported this, citing foreign sources.
The incident occurred at the "El Porvenir 1" mine in the La Ramada area. At the time of the explosion, there were seven people in the mine, one of whom made it out on his own.
Rescuers found the bodies of the six miners.
It was reported that before the incident, an inspection was conducted at the mine, and violations of safety requirements were found. For this reason, an instruction was issued to halt the mine's operations until the deficiencies were eliminated.
However, despite this, work at the mine may have continued. Specialists are now determining the causes of the explosion and how work continued despite the ban.
