In the Merke district of Zhambyl region, Kazakhstan, a 19-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, Madina, has died. According to the local publication Qumash.kz, a family quarrel may have caused her death.
It is noted that a day before her death, Madina told her close friend that her husband had beaten her and that she wanted to leave home. She complained several times that she often had disagreements with her husband and that the man used physical force against her.
According to her friend, the deceased's last quarrel occurred over a "Barney" biscuit brought for her eight-month-old child. After Madina ate one piece of the sweets brought for her child, her husband hit her.
The next day, Madina sent her friend a photo of her packed belongings and said she was no longer living with her husband and intended to leave home. She also asked her for 15,000 tenge. However, at that time her friend did not have the necessary amount.
After that, contact with Madina was lost. Later, her mother-in-law informed the friend that the girl had died.
It became known that Madina was a citizen of Uzbekistan, and her husband was a citizen of Kazakhstan. They had been living together for almost two years and had an eight-month-old child. The deceased's friend said that Madina might have been pregnant as well.
On her social media page, the friend expressed doubt about the circumstances of Madina's death and called for a thorough investigation of the incident. She said that there were traces of injuries on the deceased's body. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
The police of Zhambyl region have launched a pre-trial investigation into this incident under the article on incitement to suicide. Law enforcement agencies are determining all the circumstances of the death during the investigation.
