These facilities were built on the basis of the relevant document of the head of state dated April 30, 2026. As a result of their commissioning, it is intended to create nearly 2,000 new jobs, provide hotel services to 50,000 tourists per year, and bring service exports to 4 million dollars.
The Congress Hall, built in a harmony of modern premium style and Khorezm national architecture, is intended for holding international conferences, business conferences, intergovernmental negotiations, and cultural forums.
Budget funds in the amount of 857 billion soums were allocated for the construction of the complex with a total area of 1.9 hectares. Wide green areas and avenues have been created in the territory, and improvement works have been carried out within the framework of the nationwide project “Yashil Makon”.
Next to the Congress Hall, a three-star hotel has also been built for participants of international conferences and tourists. The total area of this project, worth 169 billion soums, is 1.6 hectares. 60 new jobs have been created here.
The four-story hotel consists of 156 rooms designed for 310 guests. The building includes a spacious vestibule, reception, restaurant-bar, children's room and terrace, as well as a wellness area comprising an indoor pool, fitness, and wellness zones.
From the hotel, one can reach the Congress Hall, the historical-ethnographic park “Boqiy Shahar” and the artisans' rows within a few minutes via green walking paths.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also inspected the “Khiva Ichan Kala” reception house. The complex, with a total area of 2 hectares, is intended for holding official events and receiving foreign delegations. The cost of the project is 260 billion soums.
In the architecture of the reception house, majestic wood-carved columns characteristic of Khorezm, ganch art, and blue and turquoise tiles are widely used. Around the complex, photo exhibitions reflecting the rich history of the oasis and national craftsmanship workshops have been organized.
The head of state also held a dialogue here with representatives of the public of Khorezm region. The conversation touched upon the changes being implemented in the oasis in recent years, the renewal in the lifestyle and mindset of the population.
It was emphasized that work to turn the region into a modern, prosperous, and thriving area, while preserving the rich history and national traditions of Khorezm, will be steadily continued.
The President gave relevant instructions to those responsible in Khiva for the effective use of these complexes, increasing the number of major international events, improving the quality of services provided to tourists, and creating new jobs.
