In Andijan, a driver of an Onix who disobeyed the lawful stop requirement of traffic police officers lost control of the steering and crashed into a store. It was found that the driver was driving the car without the relevant documents, and also that there was an overdue debt of more than 10 million soums regarding the vehicle.
The incident occurred on August 17 at 01:10 on Mashrab Street in Andijan city.
According to reports, traffic police officers on duty there gave the Onix driver a stop signal. However, the driver disobeyed the lawful demand of the internal affairs officer and continued moving towards Lomonosov Street.
Subsequently, the driver lost control of the steering and crashed into a store located on the roadside.
When the driver's documents were checked at the scene, it was found that U.M., born in 1999, was driving the car without the relevant documents. In addition, it was established that there is an overdue debt of more than 10 million soums regarding this vehicle.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver under Part 2 of Article 135 and Part 1 of Article 194 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The car was placed in a penalty lot for temporary storage.
No one was injured as a result of the traffic accident. However, the Onix sustained technical damage.
Currently, an inquiry is being conducted in accordance with the established procedure by the staff of the Andijan city Internal Affairs Directorate's traffic safety department regarding the situation.
It is noted that this is one of the latest incidents in Andijan involving a driver who disobeyed a traffic police officer's stop demand. According to the regional traffic safety department, legal measures are being taken against drivers in such cases.
