Today, on August 18, a fire occurred in the territory of the "Construction Materials Trade Market" in Yangi Namangan district of Namangan region. No information has been received about casualties as a result of the incident.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at 13:46 a report was received via the "112" system that trade stalls in the market located in the territory of the "Mingchinor" neighborhood were burning.
After that, fire-rescue units quickly arrived at the scene. The fire was contained at 13:58.
Currently, fire extinguishing operations are ongoing. The necessary special equipment and forces have been involved to extinguish it. The situation is fully under control.
According to preliminary data, no information has been received about citizens who sustained bodily injuries as a result of the fire.
