According to the draw, Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr club became one of Pakhtakor's opponents in Tashkent. Thus, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo may come to the capital.
Fergana's Neftchi club, meanwhile, will host Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal team at its own field. French star Karim Benzema plays for this club. Therefore, there is a possibility that Benzema will also take the field in Fergana in front of local fans.
It is noted that the number of teams in this year's competition has been increased from 24 to 32. Clubs Pakhtakor and Neftchi will defend the honor of Uzbekistan.
Each team will play 8 matches in the competition. Of these, 4 will be at home and 4 away.
