On August 19, a press conference dedicated to the results of the Innovation Development Agency's activities for the first half of 2026 was held.
It provided information about the Agency's work in developing science and innovation, supporting young scientists, enhancing the potential of scientific personnel, and digitalizing the field.

It was noted that during the reporting period, 17 competitions were held, and 202 scientific projects worth 395.5 billion soums were financed. As for postgraduate education, 42,776 applications were received, and 16,045 applicants were admitted.

Also, information was provided on the work done in supporting foreign internships and academic mobility of young scientists, developing innovative activity in the regions, and digitalizing scientific processes.
