The head of our state was presented with a project for a magnificent statue dedicated to the great statesman, commander, and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, within the framework of the architectural ensemble to be built in the city of Bobur, Andijan region.
It was noted that work on the monument is being carried out on the basis of a special artistic and scientific approach, with the aim of worthily perpetuating the memory of the great ancestor and deeply conveying to the younger generation his rich scientific and literary heritage, statecraft thinking, and enormous contribution to world civilization.
The President was informed about the sketches of the future statue, its compositional solution, and the scientific-artistic approaches being used to create Babur's image. It was reported that the image of the historical figure is being formed on the basis of research conducted in cooperation with local and foreign scholars, historical sources, manuscripts, miniatures, and examples of cultural heritage.
It was also noted that within the framework of the President's state visit to Pakistan, one of the gardens in the city of Islamabad was named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The project of the statue to be installed in this garden was also discussed.
The head of state emphasized the importance of deeply reflecting Babur's image in the monuments not only as a great poet and writer, but also as a skilled commander, a powerful founder of a state, and a wise ruler. It was noted that his will, statecraft potential, high spirituality, and constructive ideas should be clearly manifested in the statues.
During the presentation, the President was also informed about projects to improve the material and technical base of the Abu Rayhan Beruni International Boarding School, develop tourism and transport infrastructure in the city of Bukhara, and modernize cultural centers in the districts.
In conclusion, the head of our state gave relevant instructions to officials regarding further improvement of the projects and their thorough development based on advanced experience.
