A major traffic accident involving two Nexia vehicles and one KamAZ truck occurred in the Kokdala district of the Kashkadarya region. The accident happened around 14:20 on May 24 on the D-150 highway on the Karshi–Yettitom route.
Videos circulating on social media show the Nexia vehicles severely damaged and the KamAZ truck overturned on the side of the road. The footage indicates that the incident occurred with a very strong impact.
One passenger injured
According to preliminary information, a passenger of the Nexia-2 vehicle sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. The remaining drivers and passengers did not suffer serious harm.
Improper overtaking caused the traffic accident
During the preliminary investigative actions carried out by law enforcement authorities, it was determined that the driver of the Nexia vehicle attempted to overtake other vehicles improperly. This maneuver is said to have caused the accident.
Additional investigation into the incident is currently underway.
