In Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, a train collided with a public bus, killing at least 8 people and injuring 25.

Thai media reports that a train hit a public bus near the airport railway station in central Bangkok.

According to reports, a freight train collided with the bus when it was stuck at a railway crossing. The freight train hit the stationary bus and, while continuing to move, dragged several nearby vehicles along with it. As a result, the bus and several vehicles were engulfed in flames.

Firefighting and rescue teams arrived at the scene, extracted people from the debris, and fought the flames. Motorcycle drivers and passengers tried to help direct traffic. Rescue services arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital.

According to official data, 25 people were injured to varying degrees. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
