According to the press service of the President, the head of state wished Toqayev good health, happiness, and great success in his responsible state activities for the peaceful and prosperous life of the brotherly people of Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, it was particularly noted that the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkistan was prepared at a high level and that the substantive negotiations were productive. It was stated that these meetings gave new impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation between the participating countries.
Within the framework of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level, issues of further strengthening good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were considered. It was noted with satisfaction that cooperation between the two countries is developing dynamically in all areas.
Also emphasized was the importance of developing a new economic agenda within the framework of the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission, the first meeting of the Council of Regional Leaders, and other mechanisms. The plan for bilateral and multilateral events was also discussed.
For reference, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev was born on May 17, 1953 in Almaty. He was elected President of Kazakhstan on June 9, 2019, in the early elections with 70.96 percent of the vote. In the elections on November 20, 2022, he won again with 81.31 percent of the vote.
