A court sentence was read to a preventive inspector in Tashkent who had been "protecting" women providing intimate services. He demanded monthly payments in exchange for not taking measures against women engaged in prostitution and for giving them advance notice about raids.
According to court documents, senior preventive inspector of Yakkasaray district S.B. promised to "patronize" women operating in the Istanbul City residential complex. In return, he received $400 each month from citizen Sh.Kh.
It was reported that the inspector warned the women in advance about the planned "Oryat" events and told them that no measures would be taken against them.
On November 28, 2025, during an operational operation conducted by employees of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was caught while receiving the next $400.
In court, the defendant partially admitted his guilt and expressed remorse for his actions. The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code.
According to the verdict, S.B. was deprived of the right to work in internal affairs bodies for 2 years and sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. The sentence will be served in a settlement colony.
