Within the framework of the visit, a ceremony was held in the city of Astana to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the "Golden Eagle" (“Golden Eagle”) order of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The President's press service reported this.
The supreme state award of the fraternal nation was solemnly presented to the leader of Uzbekistan by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The head of our state expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the multinational people of Uzbekistan, noting that such a high award is a recognition of the joint efforts to strengthen the centuries-old genuine friendship and good neighborliness between the two peoples, as well as a recognition of the mutual aspirations to bring Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan relations to a new historical level - strategic partnership and alliance.
The "Golden Eagle" supreme order is awarded to state figures for their significant contribution to strengthening friendly relations with Kazakhstan.
