A teacher in Tashkent was jailed for assaulting a student on the first day of work along with several other violations. The Child Ombudsman reported this.
According to the information, on September 24 of this year, a 44-year-old teacher went to the 204-general secondary school where his daughter studies, argued with the school administration, and used physical force against the deputy director of the school G.M. (female).
When the woman was asked to behave in public places, she exhibited antisocial behavior towards the National Guard and law enforcement officers in the school premises and obstinately refused to comply with their legal demands. R.O. conducted these illegal actions in the presence of many school students.
On September 25, the criminal case was reviewed in the Yashnobod district court.
She was found guilty by the court under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Minor Hooliganism), part 1 of Article 194 (Disobedience to a Law Enforcement Officer’s lawful demands), and 197 (5) (Interference with or obstruction of a teacher’s professional duties in an educational organization in a way that violates the law), and was fined 3 times the minimum monthly wage (1,020,000 UZS) and 7 times the minimum monthly wage (2,380,000 UZS), and also sentenced to 7 days of administrative detention as a definitive administrative punishment.
