In social networks, videos have spread showing a truck dragging light vehicles behind it in Samarkand.
According to the regional Department of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred around 18:15 on October 1, 2024, on the 42 km of the M-37A highway passing through the territory of Samarkand city.
The freight vehicle, while moving, experienced a malfunction in the brake system, consequently colliding with seven light vehicles moving in the same direction, resulting in a traffic accident.
As a result, there were no injuries or fatalities.
Preliminary investigations are being conducted by the Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Samarkand.
