On October 1st, in collaboration with the US-based "Cintana Education" company and Arizona State University, which ranks 182nd in the "Times Higher Education" rating, the official opening ceremony of the American University of Technology in Tashkent city took place. The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science, and Innovations announced this.
This university has been established with the aim of further expanding the incorporation of advanced experiences from leading foreign educational institutions into the higher education sector, and is focused on preparing highly qualified professionals in the fields of engineering, healthcare, information technology, architecture and design, economics and finance, and international relations to international standards levels.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, bachelor's degree programs in International Trade and Software Engineering will be organized at the American University of Technology in Tashkent city.
As the study programs expand, in the future, in addition to diplomas from Arizona State University, it will be possible to award diplomas from other leading US universities.
