In Uzbekistan, during the last 9 months, namely January-September, the "Emergency Services" received 9 million 958 thousand 507 calls. This is reported bythe Ministry of Health press service citing the words of the Republican emergency medical center director Abduvoitjon Gafurov here.
According to the reports, the majority of the calls, namely 7 million 107 thousand 703 were with urgent indications, as well as for chronic diseases — 2 million 531 thousand 699 and births — 64 thousand 446.
The most calls were from:
- Fergana region — 1 040 546 calls;
- Andijan region — 1 013 131 calls;
- Tashkent city — 1 007 327 calls;
- Tashkent region — 933 600 calls;
- Namangan region — 905 000 calls were recorded.
The least number of callswere observed in Navoiy (296 046 calls), Sirdaryo (335 010 calls), Jizzakh (399 342 calls) and Bukhara (482 325 calls) as well as in Khorezm region (489 761 calls). Currently, the "Emergency Services" operates with a total of 2 853 medical teams.
We remind you that in 2023, the emergency medical services received 13 million 522 thousand calls. This is half a million more than in 2022. The most calls came from the Fergana valley and the city of Tashkent.
