President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to the Tashkent region, visited the "Tinchlik" small industrial zone in the Yangiyul district and got acquainted with the activities of several enterprises.
The importance of such complexes is great in the social and economic development of regions, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity, and ensuring employment for the population. This industrial zone was established four years ago on an area of thirty-six hectares. Engineering infrastructure, internal roads, and buildings were constructed, creating favorable conditions for production.
Fifteen projects in the construction materials, light industry, and food sectors have been placed here. Ten of them have been launched. Last year, they produced goods worth 295 billion UZS, replacing imports. By the end of this year, the plan is to nearly double this figure. Currently, more than 1,500 people are working at these enterprises. Employment will further increase once all projects are operational.
At the "Enter Steel" enterprise, the production of metal structures, high-pressure resistant tanks, cargo cranes, drilling equipment, welding electrodes, metal doors, and electric boxes has been established.
The value of this project is 40 million dollars, directed entirely from foreign investments. Equipment has been brought in from countries such as China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands. This serves to ensure high quality and productivity of the products.
The enterprise has the capacity to employ a total of 1,500 people. A "Practical Monocenter" has been established for training necessary specialists. Training rooms and laboratories are equipped with modern equipment. The training program was developed in collaboration with Tashkent State Technical University.
The country's leader inspected the work process of the enterprise and got acquainted with the exhibition of products being prepared here.
Instructions were given to the officials to develop cooperation with the sectors that need the enterprise's products.
