A gas worker and an accountant who promised to eliminate debt from energy resources have been detained. The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
The rapid action carried out in cooperation between the Department of Bulungur district and the State Security Service officers resulted in the detention of S.H., a gas worker of the "Bulungur districtgas" gas supply department service in the neighborhood, during an inspection in the house of citizen M.B. S.H. claimed that the damage identified from the natural gas supply, which amounted to 1.6 million sum, was actually 14 million sum, and was caught red-handed with material evidence at the time of receiving 4.4 million sum from M.B. as a bribe for allegedly reducing the damage amount.
Similarly, during a rapid action carried out by the Department's Olmaliq city branch, Z.A., an accountant of Olmaliq city Electric Power Company, was detained with material evidence at the time of receiving 3 million sum from citizen D.N. in exchange for eliminating a 5 million sum debt from the electric power supply of D.N.'s house in the "Dostlik" MCA.
Criminal cases have been initiated on these incidents under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribing) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
