The warehouse manager and the guard selling 50 tons of coal, which were supposed to be distributed at subsidized prices in the Samarqand region, have been detained. The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
The rapid operation carried out by the Samarqand regional administration of the Department and employees of the SSS in collaboration identified that the director of the Samarqand branch of “Coal Supply” LLC, J.P., by formalizing fake documents, agreed to sell 50 tons of coal, which were supposed to be distributed to needy families at subsidized prices, to citizen A.A. for 37.5 million sums. During the delivery of 13.2 tons of coal with the help of the warehouse guard X.J., they were caught red-handed receiving 28 million sums of the agreed money.
Regarding this case, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 25, 167 (embezzlement or misappropriation through fraud) and Article 228 (forgery, sale, or use of forged documents, stamps, seals, and forms) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
