President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated US President Donald Trump on his birthday.
In his letter, the head of state recognized Trump as a statesman with rich political experience and deserving the respect of the people. He also noted that under his strong political leadership, the prestige and power of the United States in the international arena are being strengthened.
The congratulatory message noted that relations between Uzbekistan and the United States have been steadily developing in recent years and are rising to a new level based on mutual respect, trust, and shared interests.
"Today, Uzbekistan-U.S. ties are becoming stronger and more practical than ever," the letter states.
The President expressed that Uzbekistan is interested in further deepening multifaceted and strategic partnership relations with the United States. In particular, bringing trade, economic, and investment cooperation to a new level was highlighted as one of the important tasks.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also emphasized his high appreciation of Donald Trump's efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability on the international stage.
Additionally, to discuss promising areas of strategic partnership, Trump was invited to make a historic visit to Uzbekistan.
The letter concluded by wishing Donald Trump robust health, family happiness, and success in his state activities, and peace and prosperity for the American people.
