President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Donald Trump on his official assumption of the presidency of the United States of America. The President's press service reported this.
In his letter, the head of state expressed his confidence that during Donald Trump's new term, the international prestige and respect, economic power and potential, and global significance and importance of the USA would further increase.
It is emphasized that Uzbekistan highly appreciates and values the policy aimed at continuously supporting the country's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity by the USA.
“I would like to highlight that during your first presidential term, new era strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan—USA were established, and our multifaceted relations were elevated to a higher level. We are interested in further developing our long-term cooperation within the frameworks of bilateral and multilateral platforms,” says the president's letter.
Furthermore, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Donald Trump to visit Uzbekistan.
